2. The Utah Jazz finish top-10 in scoring
The Utah Jazz finished 19th in points per game as a team last season, averaging 104.1 points a contest. They scored at or above their season average 40 times; including 129 and 119 points against the reigning champs.
The Jazz averaged 21.5 free throw attempts a game, making 16.8 a game — good for the 15th and 14th-best marks in the league.
They maintained those marks without Rudy Gobert for 26 games, and also converted 36.6 percent of their 3-point attempts as a team last season.
Of the players that were on Utah’s roster and active at the end of the season, only three cleared the league average for 3-point percentage. Utah’s offense should take a big leap next season after ranking 15th in offensive rating.
