Playing in a new conference for the first time, there’s still plenty of goals for LeBron James to accomplish with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Entering his 16th season in the NBA, there’s not much left for LeBron James to accomplish in his career that doesn’t already reside in his trophy case. He’s won four MVP awards, three NBA championships, three NBA Finals MVPs, made 14 All-Star Game appearances, earned two Olympic Gold Medals and stacked up countless All-NBA appearances.

Even with this list of accolades to his name, LeBron enters the 2018-19 season with plenty to prove. In joining the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron has thrown his hat into the vaunted Western Conference playoff picture as he looks to lead a team with an intriguing blend of talented youth and tested veterans with their fair share of personalities.

I understand that LeBron made the move to L.A. for other reasons outside of the basketball spectrum, such as growing his multimedia business and starring in movies (Space Jam 2 is on the horizon!!!). But he seems genuinely excited for this upcoming season and sharing the floor with the Lakers young players.

Finding attainable goals for LeBron is usually predicated on MVPs and titles, and nothing changes for this season. Here are three goals for LeBron James’ debut season in the purple and gold.
