1. Markelle Fultz
The 76ers player who has been on everybody’s mind this offseason, and for the majority of 2017-18, has been Markelle Fultz.
Fultz has dealt with crucial setbacks since being taken first overall by the Sixers over a year ago. His rookie campaign was stunted last season because of an apparent shoulder injury that drastically impaired his shooting form.
He shot 41.3 percent from 3 in college prior to being drafted, but then didn’t attempt a single shot from beyond the arc in the 14 regular season games that he appeared in last season with the Sixers.
Now, after what seems to have been a successful summer reworking his jumper with trainer Drew Hanlen, Fultz may be on his way to lighting the NBA on fire in his second year. The Players Tribune posted a video via Twitter on Thursday, finally giving fans the long-awaited look at Fultz’s reconstructed shot.

As discouraging of a time it was for Fultz last year, he and the organization are optimistic that he can still live up to his star potential.
For a former No. 1 pick, that could start with a breakout season in 2018-19.
