2. Furkan Korkmaz

The Sixers may finally be ready to unleash Furkan Korkmaz for more exposure this year.

Korkmaz stayed in Turkey after being selected by the team 26th overall in the 2016 NBA Draft, but then made his way over to Philly for 14 games last season. Though his usage was minimal, the team has high hopes for the 21-year-old shooting guard.

In the first game of NBA Summer League in July, Korkmaz put on an awe-inspiring shooting performance. He finished with 40 points in 28 minutes, and went 8-for-14 from beyond the arc.

He also had an encouraging 24-point performance with his Turkish national team earlier this week against Slovenia in the European Qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

If the solid showings this offseason were any indication, Korkmaz should at least begin gaining some league-wide recognition in 2018-19 on a team desperate to find more efficient shooters and scorers.
