Clint Capela was one of the top players to break out in the NBA last year, finishing among the top 10 or better in field goal percentage, rebounds and blocks for the Houston Rockets. Here are the three goals for Capela in 2018-19.

Despite playing on a squad that has attempted the most 3-pointers in league history over the last two years, Clint Capela has managed to become a key piece by doing the opposite for the Houston Rockets.

The 24-year-old center — who was selected with the 25th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft — posted a career-high 13.9 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game in his second full season as a starter. He also led the league in field goal percentage, joining the great Wilt Chamberlain, Artis Gilmore and Rudy Gobert as the only players in NBA history to average at least 13 points per game and shoot 65 percent or better during the regular season.

Now, the fourth-year man from Switzerland is currently working to take his game to the next level, as Houston strives to put itself in position to capture an NBA championship.

Will last year’s runner-up for the Most Improved Player award find a way to show national experts that his breakout season was no fluke? Here are the three goals for Capela in 2018-19.
