1. A better product

All of the aforementioned reasons are truly good ones to be excited, but at the end of the day, the most exciting thing is to win. With that in mind, this Phoenix Suns team should win quite a few more games than last year’s squad.

The moves to bring in Mikal Bridges, Trevor Ariza and Ryan Anderson (and apparently make a run at J.J. Redick too) signal that this team is trying to win now. Compared to last season, they should be relatively successful.

Plays where it looks like Devin Booker is shouldering the entire load of the team and trying to create something out of nothing should become less and less frequent. With legitimate starters at every position around him (except perhaps point guard), the Suns are ready to make a little noise this year.

Again, they aren’t likely to make a playoff run. However, at this point, just being competitive in more games would be a welcome and exciting change.
