Since coming over in a blockbuster trade nearly six years ago, James Harden has become one of the NBA’s premier stars with the Houston Rockets. Here are the three goals for the six-time All-Star in 2018-19.

Throughout the 2017-18 NBA season, James Harden managed to show basketball fans why he is truly in a league of his own by placing his respective name among elite company.

The 29-year-old guard — who led the league in scoring a season ago — poured in a career-high 30.4 points, 8.8 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Houston Rockets.

He also joined Stephen CurryMichael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players in league history to average at least 30 points per game and lead his team to 65 wins in a single season en route to earning the league’s highest individual honor: MVP

Harden, who finished as the runner-up in MVP voting in 2015 and 2017, edged out fellow stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis to take home the Maurice Podoloff Trophy last year.

Now, the nine-year veteran is working relentlessly to get prepared for his 10th season, as the man known as The Beard seeks to help the Rockets capture their first NBA championship in 23 years.

Will the player who has risen from Sixth Man of the Year to MVP find a way to guide Clutch City back to the top of the basketball world? Here are the three goals for Harden in 2018-19.
