What are five objectives the Portland Trail Blazers should work toward in 2018-19 to be a more successful team?

The 2018-19 NBA season is fast approaching, which means that the Portland Trail Blazers are almost set to defend their Northwest Division title. This offseason has been one of reflection after getting swept in the first round of the playoffs, and slight adjustments, as most of the team’s rotation has returned. Soon, it will finally be time to tip off in Rip City.

In the NBA, everyone from players to coaches to front office staff have their individual goals that they want to accomplish to make themselves better. Over this summer, we have even discussed a few that some of the Blazers may have this upcoming season.

However, while each person sees their own improvement in a different light, there are still those big objectives that each team seeks to accomplish collectively. In this article, we take a look at what some of those might be for the 2019 edition of the Trail Blazers. What are five big benchmarks they could be looking to reach this coming year?
