2. Trey Burke is a borderline All-Star

This must feel like a little bit of an overstatement, but Trey Burke did show signs of greatness last season.

His averages were not quite at that All-Star level, but you’d have to take into consideration that Burke joined the team midseason, barely getting much playing time throughout the first few games he appeared in.

Trey Burke averaged 12.8 points with 4.7 assists in 21.8 minutes per game while shooting 50.3 percent from the field. In addition to that, he had one of the most impressive games of the season, reminding the world what he is truly capable of.

His per 36 numbers are what really stands out at 21.1 points and 7.8 assists. This should really make coach Fizdale wonder whether Burke should see an increase in his minutes in the upcoming season.

The odds of Burke being a part of the 2019 All-Star game are slim to none, but at least being in the conversation is something many believe he can achieve.
