Last season, the Knicks won 29 games with Kristaps playing the whole year up until the last 2 months.

Now take this team and add a very promising rookie. If Porzingis is healthy for the remainder of the season, he will most likely miss about two months once again. With the Eastern Conference being weaker than ever, it would not be that surprising to see the Knicks surpass the 35-win mark for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

Now under head coach David Fizdale, many fans hope that it’s about time the organization took a U-turn toward a playoff contention. Sure, 35 wins won’t be enough to make the playoffs, but it is still a solid step toward the ultimate goal.
