You’ve probably heard plenty of reasons why the Los Angeles Lakers won’t make the 2019 NBA Playoffs. Now it’s time to find out why they will.

Take all of the negative things you’ve read about the Los Angeles Lakers and throw them out the window. They may not be true contenders in 2018-19, but this roster is absolutely built to make its first trip to the postseason since 2013.

Forget all of the pessimistic folks who believe this team is too young to survive in the loaded Western Conference. Close your mind off to the haters who claim LeBron James is too old to keep carrying teams. Turn your back to the critics who will try to convince you that their band of misfit veterans is too ridiculous to be effective.

Instead of just taking my word for it, though, let me walk you through the reasons why the Lake Show’s season will be extended past the usual mid-April finale. This isn’t the humdrum snoozer from years passed. No, this is one of the most entertaining clubs the NBA has to offer this season, and it’s sure to produce more than a handful of wins along the way.

So join in as we explore a few of the reasons (but certainly not all of them) why the Lakers are headed for the playoffs in 2019.
