The Chicago Bulls signed Jabari Parker to a two-year, $40 million deal during the offseason. Here’s a look at three goals he needs to focus on for the 2018-19 NBA season.

The Chicago Bulls came into the 2017-18 campaign with very few expectations considering they were entering the first year of their rebuild. In fact, they were predicted to be the worst team in the NBA.

Although the 27-win total wasn’t anything to brag about, Chicago did manage to finish with the sixth-worst record in the league. After failing to win 30 games for the first time in over a decade, the Bulls knew they needed to have a good offseason.

After drafting two solid rookies in Wendell Carter Jr. and Chandler Hutchison, the Bulls also locked up Zach LaVine for the next four years. The one element that was still missing from the equation was a marquee free agent.

That free agent acquisition in question turned out to be Chicago native Jabari Parker.

As many Bulls fans will recall, it was just two years ago when the team signed another hometown product in Dwyane Wade, but the results of that move were not overwhelmingly positive.

If Parker hopes to avoid a similar one-and-done scenario, here are the three goals he will need to focus on for the upcoming 2018-19 NBA season.
