Terry Rozier is developing into a solid player for the Boston Celtics. Here are three goals for the guard during the upcoming 2018-19 NBA season.

Terry Rozier is a turning into quite the player for the Boston Celtics. That really shouldn’t be much of a surprise considering the team he plays for, his talents and where he was selected in the 2015 NBA Draft (16th overall).

The former Louisville Cardinal was never given the chance to blossom into the player he or many people had hoped for. He did, however, get to start in 16 regular season games last season for the Celtics, which was his first time ever getting the nod in the starting lineup.

He started because Kyrie Irving was injured, but it was still nice to see him thrive in the role. For any point guard, it would be hard to get minutes when Isaiah Thomas and Irving are in front of you on the depth chart. When he did get the chance, though, he played great.

Rozier averaged 11.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals per game last season. This past year is also where he earned the nickname “Scary Terry.” It was a big year for the Celtics guard.

This is an even more important year for the backup point guard, since he is set to become a restricted free agent during the 2019 offseason. His competition, Irving, is also set to become an unrestricted free agent depending on what he does with his player option (he will most likely opt out).

With that all in mind, let’s get right to it and examine three goals for Terry Rozier during the 2018-19 season.
