3. Shoot 40 percent or better from 3-point range
Wilson Chandler didn’t have a bad season with the Denver Nuggets in 2017-18. He shot 35.8 percent from 3-point range while averaging 10.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. In seven seasons with the Nuggets, Chandler produced 13.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 35 percent from behind the arc.
Shooting 40 percent shouldn’t be too much of a difficult task for him, given all the 3-point shooters around him. Three players from last year’s rotation in Philadelphia shot over 39 percent from 3-point land or better in 2017-18. The Sixers finished 10th in the NBA in 3-point percentage as a team last season and look to be a whole lot more efficient in 2017-18.
Chandler has shot over 40 percent from 3-point land previously in his career with the Nuggets. Ironically, it was during the 2012-13 season, Denver’s last playoff season, that he shot 41.3 percent from the floor. This time around, another 40 percent of better season from 3-point range could prove even more beneficial in Philadelphia.
