2. Jonas Jerebko

Honestly, Jonas Jerebko doesn’t bring a ton of value to this Warriors team. Apart from being a decent stretch-4 off the bench, he’s nothing more than pine warmer for a team already loaded with capable playmakers. Losing him wouldn’t be a terrible tragedy.

So it makes sense for him to be one of the franchise’s most likely trade candidates.

The Warriors are already set in the frontcourt with Draymond Green, DeMarcus Cousins, Jordan Bell and Kevon Looney. Sure, Jerebko offers enough range to earn at least a few minutes among the bunch, but isn’t a real threat for significant court time. Plus, he’s not big or strong enough to offer minutes as a center, so his overall value is severely limited.

However, if the Warriors do end up making a trade, Jerebko could work as a viable throw-in. Especially if someone needs a shooter off the bench along with an expiring contract, grabbing this 2009 second round pick wouldn’t be the worst idea. It’s not like dealing him would take away from Golden State’s ability to contend.

Jerebko isn’t a tantalizing trade target, and the Warriors know it. However, he works as a potential sweetener for any deal Bob Myers tries to construct.
