Despite some promising young talent on their roster, the Dallas Mavericks still have players they should be looking to get rid of sooner rather than later.

With an interesting blend of youngsters with promise and veterans on less than ideal contracts, the makeup of the Dallas Mavericks’ roster is one of the more interesting ones in the league.

The guard duo of Dennis Smith Jr. and Luka Doncic should be fun to watch over the next decade or so, while the likely final months of Dirk Nowitzki‘s career should garner plenty of attention around the NBA as well.

Then there’s the rest of the bunch, guys who may actually be solid contributors on the court, but whether because of their contract situation or an inability to produce consistently, could possibly find themselves on the trade block at one point or another.

The likelihood of certain Mavericks being traded varies from player to player, but if Dallas is looking at its best-case scenarios, it certainly won’t be sitting idly by once trade season rolls around. Here are the three players most likely to be moved if a deal is made.
