2. Average more than one block per game

This goal may seem a little extravagant given that Nance is listed at 6’9″, but with his insane vertical leap as well as his lengthy wingspan, it shouldn’t be too hard to block opponents who are an inch or two taller than him.

When we take a look at the per 36 numbers, Nance actually averaged 1.3 blocks, though per 36 minutes numbers don’t account for the player’s or even the opponent’s fatigue, which is by any means not negligible after playing three full quarters.

In any case, Nance averaged 0.8 blocks per game last year. With the 2018-19 official lineups yet to be announced, it still remains a secret whether Nance will be the starting power forward or the sixth man in the rotation.

Nevertheless, given that defense is Larry’s area of expertise, he shouldn’t settle for less and look to improve in order to become the best version of himself that he can be with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
