3. Average at least 10 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists per game

This may not seem like a lofty expectation, but it’s designed to get Len more engaged throughout the course of the season. These number are only a slight uptick from what we’re used to seeing from the center, but averages like this would show improvement across the board.

Gradual advancement is the best place to start for a young player. It is surprising to think that Len is still just 25 years old. Being that young still leaves time to develop and change his game for the better.

Over the course of his five-year NBA career, Len has averaged just 0.8 assists per game. It would greatly benefit him to become more involved with facilitation within the offense, much like Andre Drummond has in Detroit. Drummond averaged 3.0 assists last season. Featuring a center in a facilitator’s role can help a player’s confidence skyrocket, causing them to be more assertive in other areas of their game.

Len should be able to meet these expectations of averaging at least 10 points, eight rebounds and two assists per game whether he’s starting or in a bench role. There will be plenty minutes to go around and plenty of opportunities to make this happen.
