5. Collin Sexton, Cleveland Cavaliers

Because of his lack of a jump shot, tight handle or passing ability, Collin Sexton was pegged as one of the more flawed prospects entering the draft. That didn’t stop him from being an all-out terror in Summer League, earning First Team honors after averaging 19.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in Sin City.

The shortcomings in Sexton’s game might become more noticeable at the next level, but his tenacity, defensive prowess and Russell Westbrook-like mentality haven’t let him down yet. On a Cleveland Cavaliers team looking for its next savior, the rookie represents the new foundation.

That should afford him plenty of opportunities, even on a Cavs team that has Kevin Love as its current franchise star, George Hill as its current starting point guard and a roster that wants to compete for the playoffs. If Cleveland moves Hill, Sexton proves himself or the playoffs reveal themselves to be a pipe dream, the Alabama product will get his chance to post ROY numbers.
