The Utah Jazz are on their way to becoming championship contenders. With plenty of movable assets, let’s look at the three players most likely to be dealt in 2018-19 if the team makes a trade.

Summertime is ending, and the 2018-19 NBA season is right around the corner. With training camp beginning in a couple of weeks, all 30 teams will enter the season with championship aspirations.

One of the few teams with a legitimate chance to make a deep playoff run is the Utah Jazz. Entering the season off two straight second round playoff appearances, the Jazz have a formidable core led by guard Donovan Mitchell and center Rudy Gobert.

It was a quiet offseason in Salt Lake City. There were no major free agency signings, and they didn’t shake up the roster via trades. The biggest news this summer was drafting Grayson Allen with the 21st overall pick.

Utah has achieved success by developing its young roster. However, the Jazz’s 1-8 record in the second round of the playoffs the last two years could be a sign the current roster needs further tweaking. They have assets that could be traded to acquire players to get them to the next level.
