3. Average double-digit assists

Already one of the truly-elite passing centers in the NBA, Jokic can elevate his distribution powers further this year.

Last season, Jokic finished between 5-9 assists in a game 38 times, more than half of the total games he played. With nine of those games resulting in eight or nine, Jokic can easily elevate those games to double-digit range.

Getting rid of the matchups in which Jokic had three or fewer assists will go a long way toward boosting his average as well. The months of February and April last season showcased Jokic’s true talent, as he averaged 9.0 and 7.7 assists per game, respectively.

With Gary Harris already proving to be one of the best catch-and-shoot wings in the league and the added benefit of another year of development for Jamaal Murray, Jokic will have plenty of opportunities to assist capable shooters.

With a prominence in rebounding and scoring already, Jokic can elevate his name towards the record books with a boost in passing.
