In what is an interesting and mutually beneficial deal, here’s a trade proposition between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Orlando Magic.

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Orlando Magic are truly at polar opposite ends of the spectrum as it pertains to contending in the 2018-19 NBA season.

While the Sixers are gearing up to make a legitimate charge at coming out of the Eastern Conference, the Magic are coming off a 25-win season, marking the sixth consecutive year the franchise has missed out on the postseason.

The Sixers’ offseason has thus far been rather underwhelming. While they may have been active on draft day, selecting Zhaire Smith while also receiving a future first round selection, their hopes of selecting a big name during the free agency period quickly vanished. Not only this, but they also lots a pair of their own free agents in Marco Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova, key pieces in the Sixers’ barnstorming finish to the regular season.

The Magic’s offseason was highlighted by the selection of center Mo Bamba with the sixth overall pick, continuing their recent theme of selecting long, athletic prospects. In addition, they have installed a new head coach in Steve Clifford, whose reputation as a defensive-minded leader should bring about some positive change to a young Magic squad.

Therefore, with two teams entering the season with vastly different objectives, there’s always the possibility a deal can be made that can meet the requirement of each one.

With this in mind, here’s a look at the main players involved in a possible trade scenario.
