Los Angeles Lakers: 3 goals for Lonzo Ball in 2018-19

Achieving the following set of goals would certainly do wonders for Lonzo Ball as he looks to help return the Los Angeles Lakers to relevance in 2018-19.

There’s a mountainous amount of pressure on Lonzo Ball heading into the 2018-19 NBA season. With LeBron James now in town and the Los Angeles Lakers trying to assert themselves as contenders, the second overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft has some high expectations to live up to.

Luckily for Lonzo, the talent is there for him to have a monstrous year for the quick-rising Lakers. We already saw glimpses of his greatness a year ago. However, with a stronger supporting cast and a full year of NBA experience under his belt, there are no excuses for the young point guard to fall short of his goals.

But what should his goals be for the 2018-19 campaign? Based on how his rookie season went and the current climate of the Lakers franchise, it seems easy enough to construct some goals for Ball as we inch closer to the Oct. 18 regular-season tipoff.

For the Lakers’ sake, let’s hope Ball can achieve all of the goals we’re about to go over. Otherwise, it could be a very long season for a sophomore point guard who’s already earning unwarranted criticism from impatient fans all over Los Angeles.
