The Orlando Magic need players to break out this coming season if they want to improve. Here are the three most likely candidates in 2018-19.

For the Orlando Magic, there is still a feeling that their roster is somewhat of a blank canvas. They have a budding young starlet in Aaron Gordon, and two lottery picks in Mohamed Bamba and Jonathan Isaac who should excite.

As nice as it is to finally have some semblance of a core in place, Orlando is still going to need players, be it these three or some others, to step up in a meaningful way.

If one of their supposed role players could increase his productivity significantly, it would go some way to unlocking this roster’s full potential. After all, some of the players currently on the Magic could be playing for their futures too.

Despite some offseason activity and finally getting out from under Bismack Biyombo‘s contract, this still feels like a franchise that will be making moves before the trade deadline this season.

With all of that going on in the background, there are minutes and improved personal stats up for grabs for everybody on the team. Here are the three most likely candidates to have a breakout season for the Magic in 2018-19.
