The Golden State Warriors drafted a player who fits perfectly on paper. What goals should Jacob Evans have for his rookie season?

The Golden State Warriors made the correct move this year in the 2018 NBA Draft. Rather than adding yet another center, the Warriors selected a wing player in former Cincinnati Bearcat Jacob Evans. On paper, his fit with the team is perfect.

NBA Summer League was a mixed bag, especially with Evans shooting just 12-of-37 between Sacramento and Las Vegas Summer Leagues. However, a player valued for his complementary skills may not be best highlighted at Summer League.

Therefore, Evans and the Warriors will look to the upcoming season as an opportunity for the first-rounder to prove worthy of his selection. The regular season is long, and the Warriors will need all hands on deck to keep their stars fresh for the postseason.

As Evans looks to be the third consecutive rookie to see rotation minutes in the NBA Finals for this squad, he has a number of steps to take first. What goals should the young wing have for his rookie season in 2018-19?
