The Golden State Warriors are going for their third straight championship, but there are three major setbacks that could ruin their title hopes.

There is no question that the Golden State Warriors are the favorites to win the 2019 NBA Finals. No other team in the league has a roster as stacked as the Dubs. Only a few squads in history have seen this many future Hall-of-Famers playing on the same team.

The Warriors’ reign of dominance over the NBA has been unforgiving. Outside of one year, they have had the league in a chokehold for four seasons. With a championship this season, the Warriors will have won their fourth title in five years.

The NBA has seen teams go on runs like this before. Dynasty franchises have always been a part of the league’s history. However, the Warriors somehow seem to get significantly better each season. This is something we have never seen from a team in the midst of a potential three-peat.

The addition of DeMarcus Cousins makes Golden State virtually unstoppable. Or, at least that’s what everyone seems to think. In most fan’s minds, the winner of the 2018-19 NBA season is already predetermined. In this article, we will look at why that way of thinking is wrong with three reasons the Dubs could fall short of another title this year.
