The Washington Wizards have a nice rotation gearing up for the 2018-19 season, giving them some assets to work with on the trade market.

The 2018 offseason saw the Washington Wizards make some strides to get better this upcoming season. They acquired Austin Rivers to bolster their bench and added veterans Dwight Howard and Jeff Green. Considering the potential quality they’ll have in the rotation for 2018-19, the Wizards should have some quality trade assets this upcoming season as well.

Washington could have as many as 10 potential free agent situations if they don’t move some of their expiring contracts this season. Even with that outlook, the Wizards would still be over the salary cap by roughly $7.4 million.

Tomas Satoransky, Kelly Oubre Jr., Chasson Randle and Thomas Bryant will be restricted free agents after this season. Given the Wizards’ salary cap situation, there won’t be any big paydays anytime soon, which opens up the need for potential trades.

Luckily for the Washington Wizards, the organization was able to put the Andrew Nicholson signing behind them. In the shadows, Ian Mahinmi‘s four-year, $64 million deal still lurks. He’s got two more seasons left on his deal, although the team should still pursue trade opportunities for him.

Clearly, the Wizards biggest assets are Satoransky and Oubre. It’s just up to the front office to get quality talent in return. Here’s a look at three players most likely to be traded in 2018-19.
