Rookie of the Year: Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic may not just have the best chance to win Rookie of the Year on his own team, he has the best odds among his fellow rookies.

Having already spent time playing in the EuroLeague with Real Madrid, Doncic is in prime position to hit the ground running with a wealth of experience against former NBA players and grown men.

His game projects so well in today’s style of play with the skills and IQ to run the show at the tender age of 19 that he should have little to no trouble transitioning to the league.

The 2018 rookie class has plenty of talent scoured across the states, but with most having never played a professional game, they’re already a step behind Doncic.

Throw in the likely fantastic numbers he’s likely to put up resulting from his polished skill-set and it’s easy to see why Doncic is projected by many to be the Rookie of the Year this upcoming season.
