Entering his second season with the Chicago Bulls, Zach LaVine has plenty to prove. Here are 3 goals for the Bulls’ explosive shooting guard.

Zach LaVine had a somewhat choppy run with the Chicago Bulls in his first season with the team in 2017-18. Acquired in the Jimmy Butler trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves, LaVine appeared in just 24 games after recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee.

Considered the centerpiece in the deal sending Butler from the Bulls, LaVine struggled with consistency, averaging 16.7 points on 38.3 percent shooting from the field. LaVine’s struggles didn’t come as much of a surprise for most considering his injury.

It did, however, raise doubts regarding whether Chicago would retain LaVine long-term with such uncertainty about his future productivity.

Of course, LaVine was brought back into the fold, as the Bulls matched the Sacramento Kings’ four-year, $78 million offer sheet for the 23-year-old shooting guard.

Now that LaVine and the Bulls are committed to each other long term, here are three goals that should help both LaVine and the team be successful.
