Rudy Gobert is coming off a season that earned him Defensive Player of the Year honors. Here are three goals for him to make it an even better 2018-19 season.

Most people know how good Rudy Gobert is defensively. Despite only playing in 56 games this past season, his body of work was enough to garner Defensive Player of the Year honors.

I wrote about how Gobert could take home the award again next season, but just because he won the award in a landslide this past season doesn’t mean he’s a sure bet to win it again next season.

Still, defense isn’t the only part of Gobert’s game, it’s just his biggest (and most notable) strength. It’s something he’s showcased every season since he’s come in the league and he’s steadily improved on, culminating in adding one of the five awards the NBA hands out every year. What about the other side of the ball?

Spoiler alert: All of Rudy Gobert’s goals for 2018-19 are going to be lie on the offensive end of the floor.
