If the Oklahoma City Thunder find themselves embroiled in trade rumors prior to Feb. 7, expect one or all of these three players to be involved.

At this moment, the Oklahoma City Thunder have the makings of a terrific Western Conference club. Unfortunately, with the current roster, it doesn’t appear as though they’ll have enough to go all the way. That’s why the Thunder could find themselves eyeing a trade sooner rather than later.

Realistically, it’s going to take more than Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Steven Adams to knock off the Golden State Warriors or Houston Rockets. Sure, Oklahoma City could probably muster the 3- or 4-seed based on the talent currently available. However, that likely won’t be enough to secure the franchise’s first Finals victory since 1979.

So let’s say the Thunder make a deal before the 2019 NBA trade deadline, which is set for Feb. 7. Who would be involved in this hypothetical trade, and why? Not sure? Well, as it so happens, we’re here today to answer those questions.

Keep in mind that predicting the future is nearly impossible, especially in today’s crazy NBA. However, we can use context clues, contract details and the past to come up with educated guesses.

So with that in mind, let’s take a look at the Thunder players most likely to be traded in 2018-19. There’s no guarantee any of these guys are wearing different jerseys in a few months, but all seem have a decent chance of having their names included in trade rumors soon.
