27. Mohamed Bamba, Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic have something of a frontcourt logjam, but if Jonathan Isaac can hold his own at the 3 thanks to his quick footwork and versatility, Aaron Gordon and Mohamed Bamba should be the starters at the positions they’re most comfortable in — the 4 and the 5, respectively.

Bamba is going to get pushed around by the stronger bigs in the league, but his damn-near eight-foot wingspan should help him make up for it. He’ll probably struggle as a rookie on a mediocre-at-best team, but he looks the part of a game-changing shot-blocker.

In NBA Summer League, he was mildly impressive with 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 19.7 minutes per game. If his developing jump shot is for real, he could shoot right up this list (pun intended). However, since that day is probably still a ways off, the promising Bamba will have to sit near the edge of the 2018-19 rankings for now.
