5. Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year has a good chance of running it back in 2018-19, and though he’s typically not thought of as a two-way player, Rudy Gobert’s offense is sneaky good. In fact, it’s about time people started recognizing the Stifle Tower as the legitimate top-five center that he is.

One could make the argument that Gobert has been the best player on the Utah Jazz for the last two seasons, even with the “face of the franchise” label transitioning from Gordon Hayward to Donovan Mitchell.

Last year, the 26-year-old big man averaged 13.5 points, 10.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, shooting 62.2 percent from the floor. He still has plenty of room for growth, and if he can just stay healthy after missing 26 games in 2017-18, he has a chance to put together a true breakout year that places him on everyone’s radar as a legitimate superstar.
