After being pursued by multiple teams this offseason, James Ennis is now set to join the Houston Rockets. Here are the three goals for the newcomer in 2018-19.

In spite of losing two of their best defenders through the first several days of free agency, general manager Daryl Morey and the Houston Rockets would quickly respond by acquiring a new piece to their roster this summer.

In a move that was made just days following Luc Mbah A Moute’s decision to re-join the Los Angeles Clippers, the Rockets officially came to terms with forward James Ennis, agreeing to a two-year, $4.3 million deal last month.

Ennis — who was selected with the 50th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft — averaged 7.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game through 72 outings with the Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons last season, shooting 47.4 percent from the field.

Can the veteran who is set to join his fifth team in the last five seasons find himself a home in Houston? Here are the three goals for Ennis in 2018-19.
