The New York Knicks are heading into what could be a difficult season. Here are the three biggest questions facing the Knicks heading into 2018-19.

The New York Knicks had a busier offseason than some people may remember. While New York came into the offseason capped out, it will look very different on the court this year.

For starters, the Knicks will have a new head man on the sidelines. David Fizdale will be taking over as head coach, as Jeff Hornacek was relieved of his duties almost immediately after the 2017-18 regular season ended.

On the court, the Knicks will also have some new faces. New York was a big winner during the 2018 NBA Draft. Kevin Knox and Mitchell Robinson both look like they will be productive players in the blue and orange.

Knox, the No. 9 overall pick, was one of the highest scorers in NBA Summer League. Robinson, who had not played in over a year, showcased elite shot-blocking and athleticism around the rim with highlight swats and rim-rattling dunks.

In free agency, the Knicks weren’t big players given their cap situation. However, they used their resources to the best of their abilities. Allonzo Trier, who went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, was signed shortly after the draft to a two-way deal. Mario Hezonja was signed using the mid-level exception, while Noah Vonleh was added on a minimum contract. Both players are former lottery picks looking to get their careers on track.

With so many new faces in town, there is a sense of excitement surrounding the team. People are looking forward to the season getting underway for a number of reasons, but there are still some things that need to be answered.
