26. Danilo Gallinari, Los Angeles Clippers

Another injury-stricken year could easily see Danilo Gallinari plummet to the bottom of this list. Given his recent track record, it’s hard to bank on him staying healthy long enough to climb much higher up the rankings.

Since his ACL tear back in 2013, Gallo has missed 82, 23, 29, 19 and 61 games over the next five seasons. He’s 30 years old now and suited up only 21 times for the Los Angeles Clippers last year, averaging 15.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game on paltry .398/.324/.931 shooting splits.

If Gallo can just stay healthy though, he might be L.A.’s best option as a small-ball 4, and there’s room for hope after watching him score 23 points over the summer as the MVP of the NBA Africa Game. That’s just one exhibition game, but if he can come back strong in 2018-19, perhaps he’ll surprise some people on a team that wants to compete.
