20. Lauri Markkanen, Chicago Bulls

Lauri Markkanen may look like Napoleon Dynamite mixed with every character Michael Cera has ever played on screen, but this babyface had one hell of a rookie season. In fact, he may be the best seven-footer shooter the game has ever seen at this age.

The 21-year-old posted 15.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last year, and though his numbers came on a bad Chicago Bulls team, he certainly wasn’t afraid to let the ball fly from the parking lot. With another season under his belt and more talent around him, the “Markksman” should be able to improve on the 36.2 percent he shot from distance last year.

Markkanen is still a question mark on the defensive end, but so is the entire Bulls roster. He may be destined to put up good numbers on a bad team again in 2018-19, but after grabbing the starting job and running with it last year, there’s no question he’s on the path to establishing himself as one of Chicago’s franchise pillars moving forward.
