The Houston Rockets proved they were for real last season. Now they try to take the next step and bring another championship in 2018-19.

It seems when a season ends for the Houston Rockets, it’s always in memorable fashion, whether it be a dejected bench after James Harden‘s game-winner in 2016 meant they didn’t get to go home early, Harden being blocked by Manu Ginobili in 2017, or missing 27 3-pointers in Game 7 against the Golden State Warriors last season.

The team now must keep those memories in the past as it tries to find a way to get over the hump and make the NBA Finals. While the team experienced some change in free agency, it managed to keep its core together by re-signing both Chris Paul and Clint Capela.

The conference finals monkey is off Paul’s back and a re-tooled Houston still looks to be the second-best team in the Western Conference.

Questions remain surrounding whether or not they’ll be as good as last season. However, with Daryl Morey you know the Rockets will explore every avenue possible in their pursuit for a championship.

With all that being said, let’s look at the three big questions surrounding the Houston Rockets heading into the 2018-19 NBA season.
