Michael Dugger returns with another episode of the Hoops Habit Podcast, this time discussing the summers of the Central Division.

The Hoops Habit Podcast continues its summer divisional reviews by diving into the Eastern Conference’s Central Division. With the division now wide open following LeBron James‘ departure, there are two clear favorites to take the mantle.

Michael Dugger begins by peeking into the state of the Cleveland Cavaliers in another post-LeBron world (1:30). He talks about the roster as a whole, including how a Collin Sexton and Kevin Love-led team with veterans could still make the playoffs.

Dugger then takes a look at the favorite to take the division crown, the Indiana Pacers (7:45). Here, he discusses the potential of Indiana making the conference finals, why Myles Turner is entering a make or break year to be Victor Oladipo‘s sidekick and finally why Oladipo has great odds for a long shot MVP bet.

Next are the Milwaukee Bucks (14:50). With a new head coach and Jabari Parker off the roster, the conversation is simple: Can Mike Budenholzer bring out the best in this underachieving Bucks team?

After the Bucks is one of Dugger’s favorite teams to watch this upcoming season, the Detroit Pistons (20:00). The intrigue is centered around what Dwane Casey could bring to this team, especially on the defensive end, as well as unlocking a Blake GriffinAndre Drummond two-man game.

Dugger ends the podcast by talking about the moves the Chicago Bulls made and why this season is based on nothing but seeing what this group of offensive based players can do with little expectations to make the postseason (26:15).
