MVP: Kevin Love

Finally, the category we’ve all been waiting for: MVP. Here’s the million dollar question: Will we see an MVP-caliber Kevin Love for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season?

As a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Love was an unstoppable force, forcing the opposition to make all kinds of adjustments, hoping they would prevent him from having a 25 and 15 game.

Realistically, Love could have won an MVP as a member of the T-Wolves, but since we rarely see an NBA player receive the award after failing to reach the playoffs, his highest place in an MVP race was sixth, back in 2012.

This season we will most likely see a mix of the two Kevin Loves we have seen: the Minnesota player that averaged 18 shots per game with a combination of the Cleveland Love who shot way more 3s.

Add that to the experience gained by four NBA Finals appearances and we have a legitimate chance at seeing Love finally get the award every young ball player dreams of.

With the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets possibly being too stacked to have another MVP and LeBron James going through so many changes in Los Angeles, many second-tier superstars like Love could make a run for the award, surprising NBA fans along the way.
