The best acquisition for the Oklahoma City Thunder was Dennis Schroder this summer. Schroder will come in and be the best offensive threat coming off the bench in 2018-19.

The Oklahoma City Thunder traded away Carmelo Anthony to the Atlanta Hawks and were able to get Dennis Schroder as one of the pieces in return. This move will prove to be the best acquisition of a new player for the OKC Thunder this summer.

Schroder has been known to have character issues, but was able to put together a great individual season for the Atlanta Hawks, leading the team in scoring.

The Thunder will be getting a player that was the best player on his team and he will be bolstering their bench. That is great when you consider what they gave up for him.

Carmelo Anthony did not have a good season. It was the worst in his career as a pro. It was a result of the decline that Anthony has on since the last few years of New York Knicks tenure.

Now the Thunder have a younger player that had a better season and will be a great piece late in games. Here’s a look at three goals for Schroder heading into 2018-19.
