9. Josh Richardson, Miami Heat

It’s almost comical that from the 2015 NBA Draft class where supposed two-way wings like Mario Hezonja, Stanley Johnson and Justise Winslow all went in the top 10, Josh Richardson — the 40th overall pick — has been better than all of them.

Miami Heat Twitter has been raving about Richardson’s two-way potential for a couple years now, and they aren’t wrong to do so. He’s already one of the league’s elite wing defenders who didn’t get nearly enough buzz for an All-Defensive Team selection, and his offense is expanding too.

He’s hardly a go-to scorer, averaging a career-high 12.9 points per game last year, but he’s becoming efficient, shooting 45.1 percent from the floor and 37.8 percent from deep. Heading into his fourth season, this 24-year-old could be poised to make “the leap.”
