10. Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves

Andrew Wiggins‘ work ethic has been brought up on multiple occasions this season, as has his displeasure with being the Minnesota Timberwolves‘ third fiddle behind Jimmy Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns. The problem with that line of thinking is…well, you have to be better than either one of those guys to be upset about being the third fiddle, Andrew.

Though he still averaged 17.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last year, Wiggins’ scoring dropped nearly six points per game with Butler’s arrival, his shooting percentages dipped, he didn’t improve defensively and he continues to only contribute in one stat column. He rightfully made our list of “good players on terrible contracts” for all of these reasons.

Wait, what were we going to say about Wiggins’ bright side? Oh yeah, he can still score, his team isn’t using him properly, he’s incredibly athletic and he’s still only 23 years old. We’re not ready to give up on a 6’8″ wing fitting that description just yet, even if the pressure is definitely on this season.
