2. How will the newcomers fit in?

The Pacers were not ones to sit idly by in free agency, bringing in a trio of role players to help out their second unit.

Tyreke Evans brings a floor general and scoring threat to Indiana’s bench.

Doug McDermott shoots the lights out from beyond the arc, while Kyle O’Quinn is known for the energy he brings to the table on a nightly basis.

All three guys were great under-the-radar moves for Indy, and they should provide a boost in their own unique ways, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have a fair number of rough patches trying to get acclimated to their new surroundings.

It’ll be up to head coach Nate McMillan to get the most out of his newest players, including offensive sets and possible lineup combinations. Doing so could be the difference between an extended playoff run and the same result as last year.
