2. Crack the starting lineup

Fultz is nothing more than just a solid role player at the moment, though he does have the best opportunity to be one of the team’s eventual superstars.

With the recent injury of Sixers first round pick Zhaire Smith, Fultz should see a lot more opportunity behind J.J. Redick and Simmons early on in the year.

Redick, who made his return to Philly this summer on a one-year contract, currently has the starting job pretty much locked up at the 2-spot. Coming off an excellent season with the team, he plans to make one final push for a title in Philly. However, it would come as no surprise if he is the team’s first off-the-bench scorer by the end of the regular season if Fultz impresses.

In any scenario, assuming Fultz stays on track in his development, it’s likely that he could start in quite a few games over the course of an 82-game schedule.
