17. Danny Green, Toronto Raptors

There’s a good chance this winds up being a generous ranking for a guy whose numbers dipped to 8.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game last year, but perhaps a change of scenery will do Danny Green some good.

The San Antonio Spurs were still a good team last year, but hopefully in 2018-19, Green will get to play alongside a healthy Kawhi Leonard once more. OG Anunoby could very well earn the starting nod over the 31-year-old Green, but for his experience, stifling wing defense and career 39.5 percent shooting from downtown, it might make more sense to slot Green ahead of Anunoby.

In any case, Green would certainly enjoy a bounce-back year playing for the Toronto Raptors after shooting just 38.7 percent from the field in 2017-18. On one of the East’s premier teams, there’s a good chance he’s able to do so, even if most of his impact doesn’t show up on the stat sheet.
