With an abundance of new faces on the roster, the Los Angeles Lakers have plenty of questions heading into a season with increased expectations.

There is no doubt the Los Angeles Lakers are the most intriguing team heading into the 2018-19 NBA season after the signing of LeBron James this summer. But with great intrigue comes a plethora of questions about how this concoction of youth and veterans around LeBron will pan out this year.

Outside of LeBron, veterans Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee and Michael Beasley were signed to one-year contracts. This group of free agents fell short of expectations with names like Paul George and DeMarcus Cousins at the forefront of Lakers fans’ wish lists, as well as being deemed questionable fits by most people around the league.

Adding these names to the young core of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart gives the Lakers an interesting blend of personalities and talent. It’ll be a tall task for head coach Luke Walton to develop a balanced rotation that everybody is happy with.

With so many questions surrounding this team, it’s tough to narrow them down to three. There are concerns at the center position with only McGee, Ivica Zubac and rookie Moritz Wagner on the roster. Is there enough shooting to maximize floor-spacing? These are legit questions heading into the season, along with others, but these are the three that stand out the most.
