3. Play 20-25 minutes per game

The Blazers moved on from three role players from last season in Shabazz Napier, Pat Connaughton and Ed Davis. Napier and Connaughton were two of the primary guards coming off of the bench and played significant roles on this team. Napier played in 20.7 minutes per game and Connaughton played in 18.1 minutes per game last year. Now the Blazers will be looking for their new additions to step up.

Curry will be taking over the backup guard roles and should easily play about 20-25 minutes each game. He is a talented shooter, scoring guard and can be a game-changer. He will probably run the offense in the second unit and be the primary guy when the Blazers stars are on the bench. He should be on the court when Portland needs offense and if the team falls behind in a close game.

Last season, the Blazers liked to use a three-guard lineup of Lillard, McCollum and Napier. It would not be surprising at all to see coach Terry Stotts go back to that this season, but now with Curry. Defenses would have a hard time defending Lillard, McCollum, Curry, Maurice Harkless and Jusuf Nurkic.

He is talented and should see consistent minutes right away this year. Curry will be competing against Nik Stauskas, Gary Trent Jr., Anfernee Simons and Wade Baldwin IV for minutes, but should beat out all of those guys before the start of the year.
