Weaknesses

Ferguson was not able to make his layups and dunks efficiently. At the rim, he only shot 71 percent. On dunks he shot 76 percent and on layups he shot only 61 percent.

Ferguson was not able to make his jump shots either. He only shot 36 percent overall on jumpers, and 94 percent of them were assisted. That is big when a catch-and-shoot player is unable to make his shots. That could damage the flow of the offense.

To add to that, Ferguson shot 33.3 percent from, 3 and all them were assisted.

Ferguson will have to be a better catch-and-shoot player going into the next season. Experience will help him. This was his first season playing with a talent like Russell Westbrook, who draws so much attention.

More in-game reps will help him get better. His 3-point shooting later in the season got better, so that is something that can give him confidence.

Not getting off to a good start was also a theme in games. Ferguson shot 29 percent from the field in first quarters, including 26.3 percent from 3. With more experience, Ferguson will be able to shoot better.
