1. Paul George

Paul George had an okay first season for the Thunder but there were some games where the shots did not seem to fall and it was tough for the Big 3 to share the ball.

This year, it’s just him and Westbrook bearing the burden on the offensive end. With George’s belief that he can play with the best teams in the league, his skill-set and more familiarity with Russ, look out for him to have an even better year in 2018-19.

George had a 38-point game against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland on Feb. 6. The Thunder won. He had a 36-point game against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road on Jan. 20. OKC won that game too.

The Thunder will just need George to provide consistency for them to take it to another level. He has not had a season where he averaged 25 points or more per game. This could be the best time to do so.

Before last year started, George wanted to be an MVP. If he can lead the Thunder to a high seed in the West with the conference being wide open from 3-8, and he is able to post great individual numbers, the ceiling is limitless for George.
